Welcome to Mzansi, that’s what we call South Africa here. upon arrival, your driver will transfer you your little oasis in Magaliesburg for your first two nights.

One your first full day we’ll have you exploring Joburg’s art scene with ArtRoute. Visit galleries such as Constitutional Hill, Stevenson Gallery, Everard Read and Goodman Gallery. In the afternoon, head out on a food and jazz safari as you connect more intimately with the city.

Start your overland / guided road trip from Johannesburg into the Free State. Stop by in the little town of Clarens for a bit of yesteryear vibes. Discover dinosaur footprints in the Golden Gate National Park with a local historian and try our some local beers and cuisine in the town.

Travel further down into the Drakensberg, stopping at the stunning Royal Natal National Park to take in the Amphitheatre and view the 2nd highest waterfall on Earth — Tugela Falls. Spend the night at Antbear Lodge and engage with the owner and the community who will introduce you to their culture and folklore.

Explore the Midlands Meander en-route to durban. Drop in at the world renowned ceramic art gallery at Ardmore before tasting local treats at Piggly Wiggly. Spend a moment taking in the optical illusion at Nelson Mandela Capture Site designed by Marco Cianfanelli with the help of architect Jeremy Rose.

The next day will see you exploring the city of Durban with a local guide, tasting the food, walking through local markets and visiting handpicked galleries.

Had enough of people? Time for the wilderness! Head out bright and early to one of KwaZulu-Natal’s premier Big 5 game reserves — Manyoni. Settle in at Rhino Sands and strap in for 3 nights of authentic adrenaline rushing game drives tracking Africa’s iconic Big 5.

Enjoy twice daily game drives at Rhino Sands and indulge in their tasteful cuisine and glamping safari experience.

After all that wildlife, it’s time for another road trip. Make your way back to Durban to board a short afternoon flight to Port Elizabeth. Pick up your hired vehicle and head into town to check-in at your overnight hotel.

On your full day in Plettenberg Bay, why not head down to Knysna, Sedgefield and Oudtshoorn. To help you unlock this seaside gem, we’ve included a Robberg Peninsula Tour as well as the option of a whale watching or marine eco tour.

Board your flight to The Mothercity to start your Cape Town adventure. Check into the vibey Kloof Street Neighbourhood at Cape Cadogan which is soggy with atmosphere. Your time in the city starts on a high, literally. Take an afternoon hike up Table Mountain and enjoy the sunset while getting a birds eye view over the city.

Spend 4 nights exploring the Cape Peninsula and the foodie culture and history of the city. We have also included a deep dive into the art scene of Cape Town with a tour by ArtRoute including galleries such as Everard Read, Zeits Mocca, CIRCA Guild, Goodman, Stevenson, SMAC and more.

Travel up the west coast of the Cape and into the rocky Cederberg region. Here you will check into Bushmans Kloof which is home to some of Southern Africa’s most exquisite Bushman Rock Art. Explore this stunning wilderness area which revolved around wellness and connection to nature.

Bushmans Kloof is renowned for its award winning spa however the area is popular with people looking to disconnect with the hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature and themselves. The landscape offers breathtaking opportunities for photography and art.

Make your way back down to Cape Town but not before getting a little sidetracked by the winelands. Visit the incredible orchards and vineyards of Babylonstoren where you will spend 2 nights. Babylonstoren comprises 15 clusters spanning vegetable areas, stone and pome fruits, nuts, citrus, berries, bees, herbs, ducks and chickens, a prickly pear maze, and more.

Join our wine connoisseur for a full day in Stellenbosch exploring the region’s exquisite wines farms and a number of private galleries.

Hotel: Babylonstoren

Enjoy a slow morning in the gardens of Babylonstoren and enjoy an indulgent breakfast at one of their two farm-to-fork restaurants. Your driver will then transfer you to Cape Town International Airport from where you can continue on your onward travels.
