FULL ITINERARY

DAYS 01 & 02 — JOHANNESBURG / CITY

 

Welcome to South Africa. Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver who will transfer you to the opulent Saxon Hotel in Johannesburg’s Sandhurst district.

On your second day, embark on an art tour of the city with ArtRoute designed with your interests in mind. Visit galleries such as Constitutional Hill, Stevenson Gallery, Everard Read, Goodman Gallery and others points of interest. This tour can be swapped for one of our other immersive experiences of the city.

DAYS 03 TO 05 — SABI SAND GAME RESERVE / SAFARI

 

Board your local flight directly into the heart of the Kruger National Park where you’ll be transferred to Singita Sweni Lodge. This lodge is renowned for its environmental impact and design focused approach earning it no. 15 in The World’s 50 Best Hotels recently.

Spend 3 nights in this private concession within the Kruger National Park and enjoy twice daily game drives with expert rangers and safari jeeps. In addition to the sublime wildlife on show, indulge in wellness, yoga, stargazing designed to help you connect with the environment on many levels.

DAYS 06 & 07 — GARDEN ROUTE / ROADTRIP

 

While the Garden Route is legendary, few have seen it like this. Jet off to Port Elizabeth and transfer to Plettenberg Bay where you will settle into Tsala Treetop Lodge. Set amidst the treetops of an age-old indigenous forest, this lodge is the prefect place from where to explore the region from land to sea.

While at Tsala we recommend making the most of your time with activities such as whale and dolphin watching or swimming with seals, traverse the Robberg Nature Reserve on food, bicycle or on horseback, explore the pristine ocean while learning to sail or paddling around the lagoons.

DAYS 08 TO 11 — CAPE TOWN / CITY

 

After all that nature and relaxation, a bit of city life is in order. Board your short flight to the Mothercity (Cape Town) and head straight to the V&A Waterfront, after all that is where you’ll be staying! Check into The Silo Hotel located above the Zeitz MOCAA.

Spend 4 nights exploring the Cape Peninsula and the foodie culture and history of the city. We have also included a deep dive into the art scene of Cape Town with a tour by ArtRoute including galleries such as Everard Read, Zeits Mocca, CIRCA Guild, Goodman, Stevenson, SMAC and more.

DAYS 12 & 13 — WINELANDS / FOOD

 

Voted the best boutique hotel in 2018, Akademie Street will be your home for your final two nights in South Africa. Explore the historic town of Franschhoek and board the wine tram to visit the nearby vineyards.

Join our wine connoisseur for a full day in Stellenbosch exploring the region’s exquisite wines farms and a number of private galleries.

DAY 14 — CAPE TOWN AIRPORT / FLIGHT

 

It’s your final day out here. Whether you fancy a slow morning, lazing around with more great food and wine or if you’d like to head back to the city for a spot of shopping, just let us know and it will be done. When you’re ready your driver will transfer you to Cape Town International Airport in time for your flight onwards.
